During the homeowner hand off, you will have the opportunity to inspect your new home from top to bottom. You will check for any defects outside of tolerances or unfinished work. You will also meet with your builder to discuss your warranty and any maintenance issues.
Once you are satisfied with the condition of your new home, you will sign the final paperwork and take possession. This is a momentous occasion, and it's important to savor it. After all, this is the day you finally get to call your new home your own.
